Cheryl Barnes serves as Chief Legal Officer, overseeing EFW’s Human Resources department and handling all contract negotiation, government compliance, and acquisition of new properties. Prior to joining EFW in 2008, she began her legal career practicing criminal law as a Public Defender at both state and federal levels before moving on as Associate Counsel for Covenant House, a national non-profit in Washington, DC.
Cheryl is a member of the Transportation Lawyers Association and the Virginia State Bar Association. She resides in Richmond, Virginia, where she works out of the corporate office.
