Cheryl Barnes,
General Counsel

Cheryl Barnes joined Estes Forwarding Worldwide in 2008 and currently serves as general counsel. She began her career practicing criminal law, acquiring her trial skills as a public defender at both the state and federal levels. She then spent several years as associate counsel for a national nonprofit organization in Washington, D.C. In this role Cheryl was responsible for contract negotiation, government compliance, acquisition of new properties and overseeing the HR department. Cheryl received her BA in psychology from the State University of New York College at Oneonta and her JD from Capital University Law School.
